JVC Mini Shelf System

I have a JVC MX-KA3 system. The CD player does not read the data on the disc's. Even brand new CD's don't always play, it works about 25 per cent of the time. All other functions on the system are fine. I estimate the system has less than 100 hours of use, any ideas or help? Thank You
