never saw a fly damaged by lightning. if unit is dead, look for damage in low voltage power supply. lightning ususally comes in thru ac power cord shorting semi conductor(s) devices. line recifiers, fusible or glass fuse etc. but if you need the fly call sony world parts at: 1-800-488-SONY (7669). fly's can be very expensive so make sure its bad. sony gives no refunds........luck
