Can't record video; audio still records. When I put power charge button to A, I get no image on the screen and display reads "remove lens cap." Lens cap is removed, but no image appears.

I tried all of the troubleshooting tips and can state the the VIDEO-DISC switch is on VIDEO, the tape's erase protection is set on REC. When I press switch to A, I see SOUND 12 bit, LENS CAP, blank date, but no picture. Is there a quick fix for this??? Please help.
