Sony TV 5 years old goes belly up

I have a 32" Sony TV Model # KV32S22 (five years old) that has sound but no picture. Standby/timer light keeps flashing. Others have had problems with this model. Has there been any progress made with Sony? Would like to add my name to any complaints to Sony.

I am having the same problem right now. (Sony 32" XBR about 5 years old.) Did you figure out the problem?

me to !!!!! i worked for sony for 20 years and they laid me off.....good luck
