Help with disc for Mavica FD-95

I have a Sony Mavica FD-95. Originally I had a floppy stuck in the camera and the disc eject was feeling like it wasn't connected to anything therfore the disc wouldn't come out. I got the disc out as carefully as I could and now I can't get a new one to go back in. It's like there's something blocking it so it can't go that extra 1/4" to drop and lock in place. Any ideas?
