My JVC digital video camera model DR-DVL9000E keeps flashing the condensation sign therefore rendering it unusable. If I leave it on for a good length of time it dissappears and is fine, but hen the next time it all happens again. Somebody said it was because of the change in temperature but I am only using it in the home and during holidays which aren't particulary hot! There is certainly no drastic change in temperature. Have you got any ideas or where I can get it fixed?

Same here, -not near water but jvc grd30 say same about condensation, -and tapedoor wont close. I really dont think that JVC should do anything but call this cam back, - really a waste of money. None of anyone I'll meet in the future will recieve my recomendations for JVC-cams, -for sure! JVC cams, - no more!!!

Hello. ine did the same thing. Thought it was dried out but it didnt. I had to turn my camcorder on and let it say on for about an hour. It will go through different thing on the viewfinder< kike the fade in and out, wide angle, just different things and then it worked out by itself but I had to leave it on for it to do it. It something it has to do while turned on. Hope this is the case for your and it works out.
