I bought the exact same model in Nov. 2003 and it died on me about a week ago (May, 2005). I had the exact same problem -- I used it pretty heavily. Just before it died, I used it for maybe 15 minutes to check email and then turned it off. After that, it refused to turn on. No sounds, fan noise, beeps, lights -- nothing. I sent my laptop in for repair, and judging from the estimated cost, either the CUP or motherboard died (which doesn't make sense since it was working fine and shut down without problems).
