I worked on one today with a similar problem and found the worm gear came off the motor. I disassembled it and glued the gear back on the shaft.

Would anyone have a user manual of the JVC CA-MXC7TN? My copy was accidental throw out and I can't remember how to operate the machine. I just need a copy of the instructions.
