sony handycam TRV 480E (D8 series), while downloading movie from handycam tape to computer thry picture package software, sound is not saving with movie in computer.

Dear sir, while downloading the movie from handycam to computer thru picture package software provided by sony, sound is not saving with movie. but if i view the movie from handycam to computer diretly, sound comes. but sound not comes when i save this movie in computer. i hv changed he sound device, checked the driver, everything is there but sound is not comming. On the screedn it also shows that sound is not there by cross appearing on sound icon on pc. please help.
