I have just got the same on a new bought 97 GTP. Worked until put in home recorded CD. I'm told that that while searching for a readable track the head goes out of alignment and that a HIGH GRADE cleaner system will straighten it out. Tried the cheap ones without luck. Any ideas from here? What model to try? Thanks Kevin
