Homehelp So I have this subwoofer that was designed to work only with a matching sony reciever. It had a proprietary ribbon cable that ran form the reciever to the subwoofer. I don't have the reciever, just the powered sub. I want to try and jack into the circuit so I can use the amp and sub with anything, I want to solder some rca jacks in ideally. I know a little about electronics but the circuit boards inside the sub have no indications of which wires are what. If I had a DMM I could test it but I don't have one. Any help is greatly appreciated. I just don't want to fry the shit doing trial and error.
