regaring GR DX77

hi, i jsut bought a GR DX 77u video cam, but the souhd and images are all messsed up,.i tried cleaning it with a headcleaner and everything still doing the same thing,. do you know whats going no? is there a problem with the LCD screen maybe?? please let hepl me! i need the vdieo for my daughters performance next week!
