HomeIs it possible to replace the CCD yourself? Apparantly these CCD's in these camera's have a high rate of failure because I have found a lot of threads with people with this problem of recording only audio and no video (black screen). The problem is in the CCD but Sony will not replace for free. I can buy a CCD for $100. Is is something I can replace? I do have a technical background of circuits and electronic devices. Thanks for your help!
