Digital Video Camera - No picture in LCD screen/Viewfinder in Record mode

Dear Sir , I have a JVC Digital Video Camera Model : GR-D90AG purchased exactly 1 year from DUBAI (UAE) . I could notice one day after I kept it idle for 1 week that it is not showing any picture in LCD screen or Viewfinder in record mode(both Manual and Automatic positions ). But it can play casettes already recorded both on LCD screen and Viewfinder . What may be the possible cause of error ? May be with lens and associated parts ? Pls advice where is the Nearest service centre to me In KANNUR District, KERALA State,INDIA regards
