I've just looked to put this pin back. Is it really that square hole (with a round hole at the back) near a lable "SA" something on the black plastic of the lens assembly? Looks like it's designed to transfer any impact on the front of the casing to the rear (or just to make your t1 rattle), which should provide some additional protection to the lens assembly (hopefully without risk to the lcd!). |
