The amplifier in the the subwoofer cabinet keeps cutting out.

When I turn on the power to the central unit, the green light on the amplifier lights for about 1.5 seconds, there's a "click" sound and the light goes out. There is no sound then out of the speakers. ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX?
