PS2 PROBLEM

Ok, this is the problem, when I press the reset button or eject button the PS2 makes a buzzing noise so I opened it up and I found ou that the iron pin that the lense is supposed to slide on just spins and the lense wont move like its supposed to, but when I push the little white plastic thing down with my finger it works. So i somehow have to make it stay down on the iron pin, anyone got any idea on how to do that?
