needs help to sort out my camcorder battery

i have sonyTRV digital camcorder..the battery stopped recharging, after i connected it to a computer to download pictures.i feel there is nothing wrong with the battery as i could operate it till the leftover time the battery charged ..i feel the camera is stopping the battery to recharge ..what can i do?
