VHS to DVD stand alone, ( Protected Content)

( Protected Content )

On some VHS tapes, I get ( Protected Content ) when I try to copy to DVD on a stand alone unit. How can I get around this incryption ?

Use normal VCR (as older as better) play mode and connect a "video stsbiliser" between the VCR annd the DVD unit(record mode). Video stabiliser is about 35$. Good Luck !

I believe this copy protection is written onto the tape control track to prevent copies from being made. I don't know of any way to defeat this. Maybe another reader will post a solution for you.
