When I first discovered this forum i thought bingo here is a quick simple answer on how to fix it...Wrong, the c:13:01 error is host to many different problems and is something sony should address! After reading through all the posts I am now more confused than before. All I can say is that I own two cybershot cameras a dsc-w1 and a dsc-v1 they both work fine with my previous sandisk 256mb memory stick pro, but recently I purchased a sandisk 512mb memory stick pro from China and the error appeared on both cameras. This suggests it is not an issue with the camera itself. There are about 20 different solutions on here and I haven't a clue which will work, so I will get a refund for it and then visit my local camera shop ask them to try the new cards before I buy!
