I have power to my camera when mode switch is selected to 'VTR', but when I flip the switch and select 'camcorder', no power to the camera.

I have a Sony DSR-200A. I want to fix my camera, but I need a service manual, and /or repair manual with schematics on the camera. I don't want to just tear the camera apart without studying the circuit flow and understanding the theory of operation. I am currently unable to use the camera, because as soon as I flip the mode selector switch to 'camcorder' mode, no power goes to the camera. But when the mode selector switch if to 'VTR', it powers up just fine!
