LENS CAP ERROR

LENS CAP ERROR

I've had my camcorder (JVC GRD-70) for about 14 months and now everytime I turn it on I get a "Lens Cap" error. The lens cap is removed and I've tried resetting the camera. LCD is black with only the error message.

i'm currently having the same problem. have you gotten it working? i'm stumped on what to do.

There may be possibility of apparture closed or/otherwise its CCD may be damaged.
