HomeNeed info about this camera and can't find much help on the net. I have recently aquired a Panasonic Omnipro Color Video Camera Model #PK-956 that was manufactured in 1982. I have the camera, the detachable mic and a battery but I don't know anything about it. I would like to know where the battery and the video tape goes. I would also like to know what the round plug/cord goes to that is attached to the back of this camera. I am guessing that I need some kind of backpack devise for it to plug into because I cannot find any place that opens for the battery of video tape. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, where can I get an owner's manual for the camera. Thank you.

I have a complete set of Panasonic Video Camera PK 956 in Original box. It comes with Battery pack ,Plug adapter,Wireless remote, Portable VCR, Programmable tuner. carrying case and cords. I've got the whole kit but no batteries... any ideas how much this thing is going for out there? The battery goes into a small VCR recorder that is carried over your shoulder. The little circle plug goes into that recorder. its kind of like the old army phones but smaller. I have an original Panasonic Service Manual. It includes Vol. 1 - Summary Technical Descriptions; Vol. 2 - Adjustment Procedures; Vol. 3 Block Diagrams; Vol. 4 Schematic Diagrams and Vol. 5 - Exploded Views/Replacement Parts List.
