http://www.pechorin.com/index.cgi?action=reply&inreplyto=208860 I recently bought a used car that has a kd s580 cd player but the display doesn't work. The readout is literally jumbled and looks as if it is written in a foreign language. The cd player works but you can't eject a cd once it is in the player and the function buttons do not operate properly. I have cleaned the connectors as instructed in the manual(downloaded from JVC) but nothing seems to help. The unit seems to be playing properly but the faceplate is just whacked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
