Common Faults on JVC AV32T55 Widescreen TV

I bought the JVC AV32T55 2 years ago. The tv developed pink patches in the corners, but this dissapeared. Then last night whilst watching the tv one continuous wavy line came up on the tv, I have lost the picture but I can still hear the sound. Can anyone advise wether this is a common fault. I am rather upset as it cost me £1120.00
