HomeJVC model AV-27730 won't turn on by either power button or remote button. What do I do for a TV that won't power on with either the power button or the remote. The on light will flicker when the on button is pushed on both the set and remote but the TV does not come on. Is only the switch bad? Or could other things be wrong? What should service on this problem run? Thanks

Hi Ginger, I had the same problem with my JVC TV AV-27985 and was able to fix it with the help of a friend. I replace the C926 (1000uf35v) Capacitor.It's one of the power switch component located at the rear end of the TV chassis. Let someone who knows about electronics do the job for you.The part is very cheap at $2.99 for a package of three.GoodLuck! |
