Need help with errors re JVC AV-27320 TV. Controls not behaving properly.

I have a JVC AV-27320 TV that powers on and displays "VOLUMEN 50" with the volume bar a max. Picture is there but with no color and convergence off. Front buttons have no effect (except perhaps to turn of the text and bar). Twice when powered on I get the same text, but the volume adusts itself to 0. In this mode the 4 volume and channel keys ALL have the same effect, to increase volume (which then goes back to 0 by itself). The Menu button has no effect. I have closely inspected the circuitry, and can see no damage shorts or possible cold solder joints. Buttons close/open properly. I suspect a surge has wiped factory presets and/or damaged controller programming (the self-adust of volume, and text/bar dissapearing, and the improper button actions suggest the controller is only partially dead). Is it possible to get a replacement controller with factory presets or representative preset default values?
