cannot view video threw tv or vcr

we can not view the tapes that we have recorded threw the vcr or tv both my camera and my daughters camera do the same thing mine was working just fine untill two days ago now nothing is there some way to figure this out you can see the playback on the lcd monitor and the voice comes threw the vcr and tv but no video any answers or sugestions?
