Terayon Imedia CherryPicker Model CP7000 Statistical Re-Multiplexer. This system is designed to integrate into a digital head end environment. The system offers service providers the ability to break apart incoming statistical multiplexes from satellite feeds, chose desired programs, and create new multiplexes of programming matched specifically to regional customer profiles. The system can accept up to 8 single or multi-program input multiplexes. These programs can include a combination satellite transponder feeds, local programs / datacasts, and can be in different formats. The operator can add or drop programs to create a customized bouquet. Applications of this technology include video distribution for Video-on-Demand, interactive TV, and digital TV for DSL service. This is a used system in good physical condition (several minor dings), and was fully operational when the video company using this equipment was broken up.
