Can someone help me fix my camcorder

I have a JVC camcorder, model # GR-AX88OU, that I haven't used for about a month. I went to charge it and the charge indicator light did not light up. It won't work at all. I bought a new charger and a new battery, still nothing. Does anyone have any idea what it might possibly be? Should I try to fix it or should I just buy a new camera?
