HomeA tape got stuck in my camcorder I was trying to clean the head of my camcorder. When I turn it on I get lines across the screen and a dull picture. In the process I got a tape stuck in the camcorder. The normal eject switch will not engage to eject the tape. Is there a manual eject procedure I should follow?

Hi I have a Sony Handycom and I have a tape stuck in it as well and it won't eject open and I dont know what to do. If you find out please e-mail me back. I know yours was an old post, but I now have the same problem with my in-laws' HandyCam tr6. I have it torn down because there is a tape stuck in it and a guide pin fell out. I can't figure out how to manually release the tape. Did you ever find a solution? I am having asimilar problem.my ccd-tr6 will not record it acts as if it is on pause and will not record.plesae help me if you found a manual? |
