Help Required to cancel error message E04 on my dads JVC GRD VX4

My parents are on the other side of the world filming their 1 month holiday in Australia and theyve received a E04 message on the camera and have had to stop filming. Could anyone help explain why or possibly email me a fix. Time is of importance. Thankx.
