HomeMy tv was working fine until one morning when it would not turn on I just get a green light flashing on the front but it wont power up. I have done a hard reset but still no power up, Someone has told me that it is the eprom that has gone corrupt, Could you tell me what this chip looks like or how I can identify it and how to get another one please. All help Much appreciated

Add another victim to this. Turned it off for 24hrs but still continued when I turned it back on. Have to say this TV has been a pain in the ass since I got it with several small niggles. I've given up on it and I'm off to buy a decent TV and will never by another JVC product again. Oh and the TV is less than 2 years old. Mine has just done the same last night - anyone help? Did you manage to resolve this problem as i am now haveing the same problem and i was told by JVC it was more than likely the power supply unit gone dodgy. Can you please let me know what you had to replace. |
