See lots of the same issues, same models and mfg dates

Sony Tv after 6 yrs went from nice picture to seeing reflection on black screen. After two weeks, called repair man only to be charged $50.00 and to be told that he will have to take the tv in to work on it and that it would probably cost $200-$250 to fix it, and no guarentees. He said that it was probably the vertical hold and would need lots of resoldering. Have read lots of comments with the exact same problems being described on this forum by lots of other people..so you are not alone.
