JVC vertical problem

Vertical Screen Problem with TV

I own a JVC TV 21" model AV-K21T which I dropped, and as a result the screen does not fully open with a bright line on the top border, I took it to a repair shop that suggested to replace the "IC vertical" as he was not able to open the screen using the remote control. If that is the problem is there a source where I can order that part in specific. Thanks

If you drop off the tv. you have a chance to crack the pcb board, that it's the real problem, be sure about the voltages in the Vertical IC. These models have Vertical Problem because the Vertical IC pins loose connection cause for temperature, the heatsink not is enough for one reason, the heathink paste used for the Ic not was enough.
