Has anyone had a problem exporting from After Effects using the Avid DV Codec ?

I get greyed out video when playing back a PAL QT movie exported from AE using either the 420 or 411 preset. However using the NTSC 411 preset is fine ???

You've got to use the 420. That's pal dv. Check your video settings in both programs. Make sure they are set to pal dv 420 (720x576pixels) 25 frames/sec.
