I have an error when i try to play my mpeg(movies)/mpg files. Need help on solving it

my mpeg/mpg file are originnally playable but after i try to install the files tha i needed to play ogm files lots of my players cannot play them any more. my windows media player give me a message that says "the specified module could not be found" when i click web help after that it give me an error message that say error 8007007E. most of these files are mpeg-1 muxed. So can any one help me?
