Homeno image thru lens on jvc gr-dv500u I am not getting an image through the lens to the viewfinder screen or eyepiece on my camcorder. The viewfinder works fine on the play selection and for any of the menu items. When initially turn on the camera the viewfinder says remove cap, but it is already off. I have attempted to go through all of the menu items and to troubleshoot myself, but no success.

I am also having the same problem. My unit is GR -D33 Ag model JVC digital video Camera. In case you get a solution please mail me and vice versa. Thanks ChandraS Same problem with a JVC GR-DV500u One day I turned it on and it stated that the lens cap was on. View finder and screen work to play, but no picture in camera mode. I will continue search and call jvc if I don't find an answer. I have the same problem. Please email me if you find a solution! Thanks! |
