HomeI've got a PROTECT message on my reciever... I've got a PROTECT message on my reciever and now all the buttons don't work and it keeps flashing that message. How do I reset it? What does it mean? Anyone have any ideas? Help. :(

This usually means you have a speaker lead short somewhere... Doublecheck your connections and try turning on the receiver again, if not, disconnect all speaker leads and try again... If after all leads are disconnected and the message is still showing, then the board itself may be damaged/defective... |
