Hello, I am a school teacher who uses a JVC GR-D70U digital video camera. It is about 1 1/2 years old. When I went to use the camera today, it would not display a picture in the field of view. I can watch previous tapes, and record sound, but the view finder is black. It blinks (LENS CAP) for several seconds before the message disappears. There is no lens cap on the recorder. Can you give me any suggestions as to what has happened? Do you know how it can be fixed and approximately how much it would cost? Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
