I had purchased a digital still camera GC QD 500 (I think its the correct one) from an american in Europe. Before a month I formatted my computer and I lost the software and could not find th CD. I downloaded the driver from the net. That brought many viruses with it. Now when I got back the CD and again loaded the driver and everything back a problem has occured in the camera. When I take the pictures some of them are lost and when opening them camera gets hanged. I formatted the Smart media card but to little help. I put another card but the problem persists. I feel the virus has entered into the programme of the camera. Can the programme of the camera be formatted ? Or any other advise you can give. I also need a spare battery, where can I find in India.
