Blinking picture same as others, but there is good quality sound ongoing.

The night before i switched the tv off, then in the morning i swtched thentv on and it came up blinking picture every 10 sec but i can hear the sound when there isnt picture. This tv is out favourite and dont want to lose it, this problem been going on for about a month.Can you tell me what's the hell wrong with it and the soloution to this problem?
