Having hard time finding info on Sony wm-2

I have a vintage Sony walkman wm-2 , and its in great shape, a 9+/10 It is metal , black, and the carrying case is a hard plastic case with a strap. All original, the FF works, the REW works and the Play works all good, however as soon as I put in a cassette it seems it doesnt want to play. Maybe just a cleaning I dont know?? I would like to know if anyone may know the value on this as I have a person who is interested in purchasing it for $40 dollars canadian. Is this a good sale ?
