Hi, did you by any chance found an answer to your TV problem? I got the same problem and I am not really sure where to start with it....Thank you for any info.Pep Jan 5/06 I have the same problem with my AV-36FA44 tv. It stays on for a few seconds and then turns off with the on/timer light blinking. The troubleshooting part of the manual says that this indicates "There is a problem with the TV. Unplug the set and call for service". I see that at the JVC web site (jvc.ca/en/consumer/service/techsupport.asp) it says: "JVC Canada's goal in the new millennium is to become the 'BEST' service provider to meet our customers needs for after sales service. ... For comprehensive tech support call us at 1-866-582-8324". I'll call there tomorrow but I'm not optomistic that they'll help me. The tv is very heavy and with the winter weather I'll have a hard time taking it anywhere for service. Jack |
