Hello all, I've learned that the STR-KP840 was part of the model number HTDDW840. The .pdf manual for the KP840 can still be downloaded from Sony's support site at http://www.iq.sony.com/srvs/sosdocs/default.asp?src=sonysupport. Go there and plug in HTDDW840 as the model number and you; get access to the owners manual plus 4 other related files.
