repair advice

hi i m electronic engineer. i have a sony discman D147 CR .the problem is that when supplied with power it doesnot show any working conditions..there is no display ..there is no sign of any movement ... Where should i start tracing from ...can i get the circuit diagram for the same or anything similar ..plz.. help me u can mail me at jayesh_mb@yahoo.co.in
