I've been having a problem with my pinnacle studio 8 problem dealing with adding cd music.

I need help, fast! I've been working on a movie for an art exhibit coming up soon. It needs music, and I've been trying to add it. When I try to put it on, the music won't play with the video. Either the video only plays or the music only plays. Recently as soon as you try to do something on the edit feature, a message pops saying there has been an error and will send an error report and shut down the program. Can tell me how to fix the problem or what to do?
