Stacy, I own a GRD72U. It works fine on one of my computers (XP SP1), but fails when I install SP2, AND fails either way when I try to use it on another computer I own. The symptoms are strange: in ALL cases, both computers "see" the device when I plug into the firewire cable and turn it on, and also in all cases (and I've tried three different pieces of software including the one that your company ships with the camcorder) I can control the camcorder from the {C-based software interface. But when it fails, the capture button in the software starts the camcorder playing, and then nothing gets captured (and then the camcorder stops playing). Microsoft can't help, HP (manufacturer of bothe computers) can't help. I'm praying here: can YOU help? Thanks!
