Re: JVC service or questions

Crystal Belue Posted Nov 23, 2004, in response to:Stacy Sample

I have a JVC 700x model digital video camera. My camera was working fine one day and not working at all the next day. When the battery is on the charger, both the power and charger lights blink off and on. I can't tell if this means that the battery is defective, overcharged, or if there is something wrong with my camera. The day before my video camera stopped functioning, I had plugged it into a TV to view what I had tapped. Is it possible that the TV sent a glitch into the video camera? Any suggestions? Thank You!!!!

If the camcorder works fine with the DC plug it could be your battery. If your camcorder is over 2 years old and the battery is the one that came with it...you probably need a new battery. Since you did not mention the model #...I am not sure what battery or unit you have.
