tips for low buget film making

hi may names Caleb jordan and i live in milwaukee wisconsin,im gonna work on my new movie this summer, (action,horror)its called:dangerous minds. anyway,i have all the blood music and edditing pretty much figured out and some of the props.But, i wanted to at least have a couple cgi effects in there(mainly for my creature towards the end of the film)but dont know where to get or find them,for a resonable price, and dont know how to use it. could you plese help?
